Project 9: Portfolio

Portfolio (Scribd):

Project Corrections / Time spent: I spent a half hour working on the Logos, redoing the third logo design, and also reworking the text. I spent a half hour on the montage, making the man’s head blend better and look more “fade-in”. I don’t like how it looks, but it fits the project criteria better. I spent 15 minutes on my event ad and changed the yellows to be darker so the words “for the” would stand out clearer. I spent 30 minutes fixing my flier because my fonts disappeared, and then I had to resize boxes, and get font to look okay. Some of the fonts I had to look for new stuff. I also spent 15 minutes or so working on my letterhead and erasing some old stuff, reworking the logo so it had a complete color scheme, and then getting my website name on the documents.

Message: I am a creative individual that improves over time as experience is gained, and skills are learned.

Audience: Potential employer, Bro. Pingel, and the students in this class.

Top Thing Learned: Projects this big take a lot of time.

Future application of Visual Media: I will continue to refine my design skills through personal projects, and anything for local bands, friends, family, or coworkers that I can, so I can turn this into a marketable trait in a few years. I also plan to use these skills in editing family photos in the future and creating board games.

The first is a self-caricature.

The second is a “tag”. It is made up of the letters of my last name.

And last is an image I have used at the end of my signature since the 5th grade when I first got into Dragon Ball Z, and shows like that.
